Dr. Afifa Tanweer, PhD, RD is an Assistant Professor and Acting Chair of the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics at the University of Management and Technology, Lahore. A registered dietitian with a PhD in Food and Nutrition, she has extensive experience in academia, research, and professional training. Dr. Tanweer has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and actively contributes to the field through her roles in research supervision, curriculum development, and scientific editing. She also serves as the Continuing Nutrition Education Coordinator for the Pakistan Nutrition & Dietetic Society, promoting advancements in dietary assessment and nutrition education.
