Dr. Palmira Immordino

Dr. Palmira Immordino, is a full-time faculty at the Department of Health Promotion, Maternal and Infant Care and Internal Medicine and is the Deputy Director of the University Center “Migrare”, University of Palermo, Italy.

She has over a decade of professional experience in public, governmental and international organizations in Europe and Sub- Sahara Africa. She has worked for many years with the WHO and she currently support the WHO Regional Office for Europe as a technical adviser. She is a medical doctor, Public Health specialist and she holds a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene from the LSHTM.
