Laura Di Giorgio, PhD, is a Senior Economist at the World Bank in the Health, Nutrition and Population General Practice. Dr. Di Giorgio holds a PhD in Economics and completed a Post-Graduate Fellowship in Global Health. She brings 14 years of combined work experience in the health sector, spanning between academia, consulting firms, NGOs and multi-lateral development banks. She currently advises and supports governments in the design and implementation of health sector and health financing reforms and leads analytic engagements to inform policy dialogue and decision making. Most of her work has focused on the regions of Eastern & Southern Africa, South Asia and Latin America and Caribbeans.
