Professor Heffernan has over 30 years of experience in building System Dynamics models and mentoring practitioners and students on health policy modelling. He formerly managed Evans & Peck's (now Advisian) Decision Modelling Service line as a principal of the firm. Mark is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Chartered Professional Engineer, past President of the Oceanic (formerly Australasian) Chapter of the System Dynamics Society and former Business Thread Co-Chair for the International System Dynamics Conference.
