Martin Raab has over three decades of substantial international expertise in the development of health systems and the enhancement of capacity in a range of Eastern European, Middle Eastern, and African nations. From 2008 until 2022, he served as the head of the Digital Health Unit of the Swiss Centre for International Health (Swiss TPH). The Digital Health Unit is engaged in many initiatives aimed at developing and deploying digital health solutions in both Switzerland and low and middle-income nations. Currently, he holds the position of managing director for a substantial health project in Ukraine, overseeing multiple initiatives related to health informatics planning and execution. He is engaged in postgraduate teaching in Digital Health at both the University of Basel and the University of Lucerne.
