Patricia O. Chocano-Bedoya, MD PhD

Dr. Chocano-Bedoya completed her PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with minors in nutrition and biostatistics and then received a Yerby Postdoctoral Fellowship at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health to train in nutrition epidemiology and neuro epidemiology. Her prior research included studies about micronutrients and data-driven dietary patterns and their associations to women’s health, as well as clinical trials targeting geriatric outcomes. Her current research is on modifiable factors related to healthy ageing, with a focus on diet and cognitive impairment. She has extensive experience teaching nutritional and clinical epidemiology.
