Prof. Dr. Bach Tran

Dr. Bach Tran is Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Public Health at VNU University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and an Adjunct Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His research focuses on decision-analytic modeling to inform the development and evaluation of health technologies and policies. He has collaborated extensively with United Nations agencies, international organizations, and governments across Asia to advance global health and development initiatives. His work has been instrumental in identifying cost-effective interventions, evaluating health services and innovations, and strengthening health systems, particularly in the contexts of epidemics and emerging diseases.
