Prof. Sabina De Geest, PhD

Sabina De Geest is a Professor of Nursing at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Basel (Switzerland). She leads the PIONEER international interdisciplinary research group focusing on behavioural (e.g. medication adherence) and psychosocial issues in chronically ill. Driven by implementation science methodology, her research portfolio focuses on the development of innovative care models partially eHealth powered. Her research is funded by the SNF, EU Horizon and competitive foundations. She is a co-founder of the Swiss Implementation science Network and is teaching implementation science courses at University of Basel as well as at KU Leuven Belgium.
